Do I qualify?

In order to qualify for a Charity Mobile Account with us you will need to satisfy the following:

Be registered

You must be a registered charity with either the Charity Commission for England & Wales or The Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator

Be listed in the HRMC

We check the HMRC database to ensure you're eligable

Have an online presence

You must have a website that is registered with the above regulator

Be an employee of the charity

You must be able to demonstrate that you work for the Charity

To use a charity short code keyword, be VAT Registered

To receive donations via our Charity Short Code, you must be UK VAT Registered

Please note that we operate a 'Fair Play' policy which means that any Charity Account that undertakes activity for other businesses (either by themselves or via a Marketing Agency) risks having their account immediately terminated.

How do I sign up?

1. Create your Textlocal account.
   You can do this online, and it only takes a few seconds.
   It is important you create your account using the address registered with the charity regulator as well as an email address using the same charity domain name registered with the charity regulator.
2. Log into your account and click on the 'Charities' button down the right hand side of your dashboard then follow the Charity Mobile Account Activation process (this should only take a minute).
