Great service! a fraction of the cost of a 2nd class stamp

We are a small dental practice and use Text Local for our monthly recall reminders. We usually send each month around 350 reminders which traditionally was sent via 2nd class post. However when Royal Mail put the prices up in 2012 we found that this was just not economically viable anymore. If we sent our reminders via Royal Mail it would cost around £2,100+ per year. Text Local works out inclusive of Vat £252+ per year. Therefore its a no brainer to use sms messaging. Our patients have now got used to receiving text messages and we have had no complaints. Of course there are some people who don't uses mobile phones and a postal reminder may be better for these people, but we have no complaints and will continue to use Text Local. We also include our website address in the message so that smart phone users can go straight to our website. I cant think of any negative parts of the service, we just create the monthly folder, paste the numbers and send.
